Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye:Hon Jakande Launches Punctuality Exercise, Promises Recognition for Diligent Staff.

The Executive Chairman of Òdì-Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Seyi Jakande, has introduced a Staff Punctuality Exercise to promote discipline and efficiency among council workers.
The initiative, which began on October 27th, involves monitoring teams conducting on-the-spot attendance checks and supervising the signing-in process.
Hon. Jakande emphasized the importance of punctuality and dedication in public service, stating that the council’s productivity depends on the collective discipline of its workforce.
“We are building a culture of accountability and responsibility. Every minute counts in public service, and we must set the right example for our community,” he said.
He announced that departments with outstanding attendance records will be recognized, while habitual lateness will attract administrative measures.
The Chairman also announced a medical outreach scheduled for November 3rd at the council premises, where medical experts from Atlanta, Georgia, will provide free medical check-ups, including cancer screening and dental services. All council workers will benefit from the outreach.
Staff members commended the initiative, describing it as a timely move that will improve service delivery and restore workplace ethics within the council.
