The usual saying “A December To Remember’ played out on Friday when the Chairperson of Isolo, Mrs. Olajumoke Olasoju and her spouse, Hon Olasoju Adebayo hosted over 250 children in this year’s edition of the annual children’s Christmas party on the council premises.

The children, mostly between ages 1-10, thronged the venue in company of their parents/guardians to behold a grand party atmosphere.

In his opening remarks, Olasoju schooled the joyous kids on the significance of Xmas and the life journey that lies ahead of them in which excellence should be their ultimate goal warning them to shun vices that could be inimical to their desires.

Investigator news reports that the event featured dancing competitions, games, raffles, bouncing/slide castles with gift packs to the partying children courtesy of Unifood, Nigeria – Producers of Rio Pop,as the Children had enough to eat and drink.

Meanwhile, the council boss joined the pregnant ones who were given the dancing floor among parents by compere with a promise of delivery kits to them for coming.

Dignitaries at the event which had Delight Entertainment as Disc Jockey included the SSA on Youth Mobilization to Governor Sanwo-olu, Alabi Opeyemi Oladimeji, Vice Chairman, Hon. Shakir Sadiq, Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Adesina Salisu who captained cabinet members, councilors of Akinbaye and Apena Wards as well as Council Manager – Mrs. Mojisola Ogabi who led the pack of management staff among others.

Highlight of the event was the cutting of the xmas party cake, dance by the children and lots of other fun for the children.
