The Pleyda Association marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of her newly elected executives on Sunday,8 September,2024.
The event, held amidst much enthusiasm and optimism, brought together the leadership team that will steer the association through the new administration.
The ceremony saw the formal installation of all the executive positions, except for the Director of Studies and Vice President Admin, filled by deserving individuals ready to take on their respective roles. Notably, the President, Vice President Social, General Secretary, and several other key positions were won unopposed, reflecting the confidence and trust the members have in these individuals.
The newly inaugurated executives are:
– President: Mujtabah Akinola
– Vice President Social: Kiyomi Aisha Aramide
– General Secretary:Abdullateef Balikis Aduke
– Assistant General Secretary: Salaudeen Nosimot
– Treasurer: Shukurat Akinola
– Welfare Officer I

The event also featured addresses from the Board of Trustees and the Past PLEYDA President, who emphasised the importance of unity, commitment, and the spirit of service in the success of the association.
They urged the new executives to uphold the association’s values and work diligently towards the betterment of Pleyda.
The inauguration sets the stage for a productive year ahead, with the new leadership poised to build on past achievements and introduce innovative ideas to further the association’s mission.
As they take on their new responsibilities, the Pleyda community looks forward to an administration filled with progress, growth, and impactful initiatives as the ceremony ended with a renewed sense of purpose, as the executives, alongside the association’s members, pledged to work together for the greater good of Pleyda.
